Location - stunning, so close to the Cotswolds & the Breakfast as well as gardens. Also, to other pubs. Had bright and cosy room and a good stay for a friend's wedding at Stonebarn. Lots of facilities like: coffee and tea making equipment, and a TV set.
Tiny bathroom, tiny room.

Came in Burford to relax and have fun, this characterful hotel was ideal base for doing it. Comfortable beds, tea/coffee making equipment and a multi-channel TV were a nice touch.

We found the staff (including the owner) very welcoming, and not averse to spending time talking to us. We found the food to be excellent, and at times quite unusual. The breakfasts were well cooked and presented, with plenty of choice, and any request was granted if at all possible. As we were there for only one night, being en route to Devon, we were rather limited in our comments, but the fact that this was the second time we have stayed, both times were good and we would be happy to stay again in the future.
In need of some decoration/renovation in some areas, although we think that in some ways this may add to it's appeal.

The staff were brilliant although they did ring me twice, when it was almost midnight, the night before to check that we were coming which was not so good.
The room was ridiculously small and strangely laid out, not at all like the pictures, Very cramped and narrow beds, no bedside table, tiny television. The shower was uncomfortably close to the bathroom light which dangled down on a flex. We did not complain to the waiting staff as these problems were not under their contol but will be writing to the management

so very noisy there was a really noisy family with young children above us and the noise of the read was very loud

Large attractive room Good food at both breakfast and dinner Plenty of parking Location for walking and touring Cotswolds Less expensive than the competition in Burford
Bed a bit uncomfortable. Bath slightly grubby on arrival and toiletries not fully replaced after use. A bit run-down eg outside light not working so fumbling in dark to unlock outer door at 11pm!

Had a wonderful stay with a cozy room featuring a comfy four-poster bed and a stunningly lit bathroom. There were plenty of relaxing spots to unwind and a lovely lounge area with board games, perfect for winding down. The only small hitch was some street noise despite shutting the window, but we slept soundly once we settled in. 😊

This was an overnight stay on route to the funeral of a member of my family. My room was comfortable, and was complete with regards to facilities. The inn/hotel had a good and friendly atmosphere, and I was able to get to my intended destination the next day with comfort and ease.
